Colour Our Story facilitates the creation of colouring-in books and colouring-in greeting cards.
These are filled with beautiful and unique drawings and short stories created by children, for children, all across the world.

Giving children everywhere an opportunity to share their worlds through drawings and short stories empowers those who may have come from challenging circumstances.
It allows them to feel that they matter, are seen, and are loved.
Whatever their experiences, backgrounds or their place in this world, they’re embraced and celebrated by other children far and wide with loving curiosity and empathy.
These books are designed to empower, inspire and create a deeper sense of connection, empathy, curiosity and global citizenship through the therapeutic joy of creativity.

COLOURING-IN BOOKS & GREETING CARDS WITH LITTLE STORIES
Thanks to our global Village of Colour Our Story volunteers, we now have books and greeting cards from so many different places around the world. Who knows where the next ones will spring from?
A special global book, ‘Home Together’, filled with content collected from all over during the Covid-19 pandemic, has also been created, and we are currently accepting new content for our ‘Save Our World’ and ‘Peace’ collections.
ALL FUNDS RAISED SUPPORT CHILDREN IN NEED OF THE THERAPY AND JOY OF CREATIVITY THROUGH GLOBAL EXCHANGES, OPPORTUNITIES AND SUPPLIES.
How to get involved
Everyone is welcome here regardless of their skills, background or location. It takes a village, as they say, and we all have something to contribute to help bring a little brightness and magic into children's lives the world over.
If you love children’s wild imaginations, their creativity and you believe, like we do, that art and story telling really do have the power to connect, empower, inspire and heal, then you have come to the right place.
Families
We’re pretty sure your kids love to create and explore through art and books but have they ever imagined becoming artists and authors themselves, appreciated by other children all around the world?
Carers
Are you a teacher, carer, charity, organisation or perhaps involved with children in some other capacity? We would love to hear from you as there are so many different ways for children to get involved with this project.
Creatives
& travellers
Perhaps you are a creative and would like to put your skills to use in a meaningful way that will impact children's lives. Or maybe you love travel and learning about different cultures and peoples’ stories.

Magical bookmaking events have already taken place with children in Auckland and Dunedin in Aotearoa New Zealand, Melbourne in Australia, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Cameroon, Haiti, Czech Republic, Laos and Indonesia with more coming soon.
